If your planning a Garden Party then the size of your marquee is usually determind by 2 factors. The 1st is the size of the Garden, Field or area where the marquee will be sited. The second factor is the number of guests. Often garden parties are informal events with a small bar and informal dining such as a Buffett or Hog Roast. A mains power feed is the most cost effective and reliable way to power your marquee if you have a power supply within 100m of your marquee. We prefer mains feed over generators as it allows appliances such as fridges to be left on for days before. This service is undertaken by a qualified electrican and is usually in the region of £150-£200 + VAT

Modern Generators are super silent in nature and are powered by diesel or bio-diesel fuels. The size of the generator usually depends on if your catering team will be cooking on gas or electric appliances. A typical generator size suitable for a marquee this size is 20-45 KVA.
